"The Watering Can" (better photos)
SOLD
I like these photos much better. They accurately portray how dark the darks are. This is a beautiful little 7x9 inch oil study of my favorite watering can full of flowers.

Yea - I love flowers and old cans.
Nice job!
I was very happily surprised at this painting. I'm always nervous about painting metal - Thanks for visiting and your comment.
Looking good, Cara!
Thanks Ron, you long winded devil you - ha!
Good job painting the metal watering can. I like the photo showing the paint strokes. Lovely painting!
Thank you so much Janelle - I was very pleased with my brushstrokes - sometime I work them and sometimes they work me...
Great job on the old metal part. I always found metal to be a challenging concept to paint.
Thanks Doug - Metal was always a problem until I studied with Ray Vinella - he told me to paint it one spot at a time and not blend it into a mess - he was right.
I love the metal can...beautiful job Cara.
Thanks Sandy
Cara - you know me,never one to be pushy, but there must be a least a weed or two around you could paint.
Egads Bill - you're a pest!
Ok, Cara - I will give you until after the holiday. Are you cooking? You could order out and have some time to paint.
I will be painting over the holiday and expect you to join me in spirit.
I will promise to join you in spirit. Thanks for keeping a fire lit under me - Cara
Cara - Tagged you as a sign of affection. Come look unless you are painting.
