Brass Bowl

Cool still life! I did a copper coffee perc for one of my recent assignments, and it is hard as hell to get metal down.
Also, I like the ladder on your esteban below. I don't know why, but it jumps out at me and just looks neat.

Doug - thanks for visiting -I agree 100% - metals are very hard for me to convey.
The ladder in the Esteban is the norm in the pueblos. If you scroll down to my painting called Acoma Ladder you will see a huge ladder and I promise its not exaggerated in the painting. This ladder is huge.

Beautiful color, nice painting. I also greatly appreciate the ladder. Brings back a lot of memories for me, living a short time in New Mexico. Being an artist opens new doors with our eyes.
