Hi, I’m a painterly painter who paints paintings...with paint. Please excuse the tongue–n-cheek intro but I couldn’t help myself. The word painterly has always cracked me up. What does that mean anyway?

I like your greens in this one. You can tell you like your tree trunks, they've been shadowed very nicely. It looks very warm and relaxing in this picture.
Thanks Doug - I appreciate your comment. Just today on my commute to work I was looking at a certain tree I always pass and thinking about the wau the sunlight was dappeled on the trunk...yeah..I guess I do like trees.
